Milieu developed a low energy strategy for servicing a large duplex apartment in London.

The apartment makes use of air source heat pumps connected to underfloor heating, and hot water calorifiers to utilise an efficient heating and direct expansion cooling system, to ensure the environmental climate can be closely controlled during the summer season.

Lighting is low energy LED and is connected to a LUTRON lighting control system which also drives the external blinds.

The development won the ‘Best Apartment by a Small Developer’ in the Evening Standard New Homes Awards in 2013.
