Project Description
Nourish Hub
Working with Hammersmith and Fulham Council and the local Community and RCKA architects, a new mixed-use workspace and community food hub was created.
It replaced a vacant post-office to provide the community with facilities where learning about healthy eating and cooking food as a social activity connects diverse cultures and teaches meaningful skills whilst bringing the community together.
The Hub is run by UK Harvest, a not-for-profit charity that collects quality excess food to provide nutritious meals.
The project won a New London Awards Community Prize in 2021 and the Mayor’s Prize 2021.
