Project Description
Premier Inn | Waterloo
Completed in 2012, the Premier Inn at Waterloo London comprises a complete regeneration of the Grade II listed “General Lying-In Hospital” on York Road as well as the construction of a new 14 storey tower.
In total the development provides Premier Inn with 234 air conditioned hotel rooms with a check in lobby at ground floor and themed bar and dining area at lower ground floor.
The building achieved a considerable reduction of carbon emissions over a typical new construction project by providing Combined Heat and Power plant to generate the majority of the domestic hot water load and the circulation space with LED lighting. Air Source Heat Pumps provide simultaneous heat recovery heating and cooling throughout the year. The building is future proofed with a district heating interface should a future network become viable, the connection can discharge and absorb energy.
